Triple occupancy rooms come with either a queen + twin beds or a 2 queens + twin beds, and a large ensuite bathroom.

The West Lodge is a stylish holiday cottage in the Scottish Borders. Set at the West Gate of Wedderburn Castle, it dates from 1820 and combines historic charm with modern comfort and stylish decoration.
**This lodge is a 10 min walk throught the castle grounds to get to the main castle. You can also choose to rent a bike during the retreat for $50 for the week to help get to and from.
The property has been recently remodeled and now has a stunning double-height kitchen and sitting area, complete with original wooden beams and an oversized dressed stone fireplace with wood-burning stove. The kitchen offers a spacious cooking area and is prefect for family meals around the ash dining table. Comfortable sofas surround a large flat-screen television with digital channels and a DVD player.
The adjacent glazed sunroom looks across the surrounding lawn and woodland. This space is perfect for reading and relaxing and leads to the newly-created bedroom wing of the West Lodge.
In the bedroom wing there are two double bedrooms – both with king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms (sold out) – and one bedroom with 2 twin beds and a private bathroom across the hall. All bedrooms and the bathrooms are decorated in a contemporary style and appointed to the highest standard.

There are wooden floorboards and antique floor tiles throughout the ground floor of the cottage, with the floorboards cut from a single ancient ash tree that grew beside the castle and fell in a storm.
The upper floor has two bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed and a second that can be used as a king bed or 2 twin beds. The king bedroom has an oak bed and en-suite bathroom with luxurious 1.8m bath and rain shower, limestone tiling and wooden floors (SOLD).
